By utilizing 5 Gbps switching throughput, each SJA1105EL port can operate independently with data transfer rates between 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps. Standard interfaces on all ports allow easy connection to any type of Ethernet PHY. Examples include NXP's TJA1100, an optical transceiver or the general-purpose 10/100/1000BASE-TX PHY for diagnostic applications and the industrial automation market. The SJA1105EL fully supports key automotive standards such as audio/video bridging and provides advanced automotive diagnostics.
